Enerform is a design-build company creating highly energy-efficient and sustainable architecture in Boise, Idaho. Enerform provides design, general contracting and energy-modeling services, specializing in Passive House and Net-Zero projects. Enerform was co-founded in October 2013 by Scott Yribar and Steve O’Connor.

Through the combination of excellent design, the latest building science and efficient systems, Enerform aims to provide highly livable environments while reducing energy consumption and decreasing operating costs. Enerform strives to meet the Passive House energy efficiency standard, the most rigorous in the world. Enerform believes that energy efficiency is the foundation of truly sustainable design and that the Passive House standard is the optimal way to reduce energy consumption in our built environment.
Enerform will lead the development of highly energy-efficient design and construction in Boise, Idaho and beyond. Steve O’Connor is a PHIUS+ Certified Builder through the Passive House Institute US and co-founder of Enerform LLC. He is the business development manager for Enerform as well as the site superintendent. Steve has a Masters in Business Administration from Boise State University and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Idaho. Steve’s work history as a sales and sponsorship manager developed his business management skills, including project management, human resource management and accounting. He is focused on financial analysis for project development and modeling cash flows for expense-reducing capital projects through energy efficient design and improvements.
Scott Yribar is a co-founder of Enerform LLC in Boise, ID where he is the head designer and project manager. Scott holds a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Utah and a Certificate in Construction Management from the University of Washington. He is a PHIUS Certified Passive House Consultant and Builder. Scott recently returned to Boise after working for RB&MC, an architecture firm in Aigle, Switzerland. In Switzerland he was involved in the design of numerous projects ranging from multi-family housing to retail space to historic renovation. This experience in Switzerland developed Scott’s design and project management skills as well as his technical understanding of energy-efficient building assemblies. Scott also worked for Brach Design Architecture in Salt Lake City where he helped design Utah’s second Passive House.
